Some recent laws and acts passed to aid and effect equality and diversity in society and the workplace:

There are moves towards a Single Equalities Act for Great Britain, bringing disability,

sex, race and other grounds of discrimination within one piece of legislation.

The current proposals for this include some major changes to disability discrimination law.

The new Wiltshire Racial Equality Council web site is now up and online, and gearing up for normal operations.

It was time for a change, and now that change is almost complete! We hope you find our new site easier to use than its previous incarnation. Rest assured new content is being planned and developed for it all the time, and future additions of interactivity and syndicatable content will provide a richer, more interactive experience for all our users.
